Camp Balboa is nestled in the northwest corner of the beautiful Balboa Park, covering approximately 15 1/2 acres. It's just a short walk from the world-famous San Diego Zoo and the park's many attractions. The camp is available year-round for all levels of scouting, from Tiger Cubs to adult leader training.
Behind the Council Service Center, you'll find ten campsites, accommodating up to 300 campers. Each campsite is equipped with a campfire ring, flagpole, and picnic tables. The camp also features a patio/picnic area with brick barbecues, and an amphitheater for campfire programs under the beautiful San Diego sky. A projector can be reserved for nighttime movies.
