About the Camp

Camp Bashor at Otay Lakes has the San Diego-Imperial Council partnered with the County of San Diego to create a campground facility at Otay Lakes Regional Park. Once completed, the South County region will have an enhanced park facility that can be used by Scouts, community organizations and families.

We're just really getting started. As more information becomes available about Camp Bashor at Otay Lakes, it will be posted here. Be sure to follow us on the journey.

To get things started, enjoy the Camp Bashor at Otay Lakes booklet. In it you will find a bit of background information of how we got to this point. Also included are some renderings of where we want to go in the future.

Projects of this scale can only happen with generous donations. Mrs. Bashor provided the "seed money" to get the project started. But much more is needed to make Camp Bashor at Otay Lakes the premier camping facility that it is destined to be. Please click on the button to start your sponsorship of a piece of this project, or simply to make a general donation towards the project.
