The UCSD student IEEE chapter is hosting the Electronics merit badge at the School of Engineering on May 17, 9 AM to 3 PM.
It is important to note that the UCSD students do most of the instruction and hands on. They have completed the merit badge worksheet just as if they were Scouts.
The location is outstanding. It's on a major research university campus in an engineering lab space with lots of test equipment and tools.
The Scouts construct their own component based circuit and stages, adding components to implement a control function.
