"The purpose of the High Adventure Team is to coordinate and promote challenging outdoor activities in support of the goals of Scouting America."

Welcome to the website of the High Adventure Team of the San Diego - Imperial Council! We are dedicated to providing quality leadership training and activities above and beyond the basic camping experiences of Scouting America. We serve the Scouts and adult leaders of the San Diego - Imperial Council, which consists primarily of the San Diego and Imperial counties.

The High Adventure Team Goals and Objectives are:

  1. Educate and train youth and adult leaders in the subjects critical to outdoor awareness and leadership.
  2. Promote high adventure and conservation activities.
  3. Provide a resource for information about camping, backpacking, and water treks.
  4. Administer an incentive awards program in support of our mission.

The San Diego-Imperial Council High Adventure Team meets the 4th Tuesday of each month (except July, August and December) at 7:00 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 4324 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, 92117. All registered Adult Scouters are encouraged to attend and learn more about the High Adventure Team. Come join us!
